I have been following this program, "Qualifications Of Man" on KBS Channel for quite some time now. This program is about a group of middle-aged man attempting different challenges thrown to them by the producers of the show.
From obtaining a license in wallpapering to forming a amateur rock band, the seven members often end up in hilarious situations while in the process of their mission.
The theme for their 39th mission is: Men and Harmony.
They have to form and take part in a nation-wide choir competition to be held in Geojedo. Except for Kim Tae Won (aka Granny Taewon) who is the leader of a rock band Boohwal, this is by no means an easy feat for the remaining members who are mainly actors (Lee Jung Jin, Kim Sung Min) and comedians (Lee Kyung Kyu, Lee Yoon Seok, Yoon Hyung Bin, Kim Gook Jin).
An open audition held within the TV station attracted musical actors, rookie singers, comedians, reporter and even a KBS administration staff to turn up.

Under the baton of Park Kolleen, the choir will be singing two songs namely Nella Fantasia and Animation Medley (a medley of Korean Animation Theme songs).
Bae Dahae (vocalist of latest girl group Vanilla Lucy) and Seonwu (KBS Entertainment Reporter) were selected as soloists to lead the members in the song, Nella Fantasia.
After two months of intense choral training with Park Kolleen, here is their result.
Months of hardwork finally paid off!
The greatest satisfaction a performer could ever receive from his audience is their applauses!
Being an old choir boy, I could totally relate to why everyone is crying so hard at the end because it stirs up the same emotions (and memories) in me.
From complete strangers to friends, everyone trained and worked hard towards a common goal but all too soon, the competition comes to an end and it is time to part their ways again. The friendships and bondings formed during this two months may be short but is a meaningful one.
It's truly an amazing journey for these people from different backgrounds coming together for one sole purpose, but with perseverance and determination, they succeeded in putting up a stupendous performance!
*The choir is still in the preparation stage practising their choreography on KBS Channel but because I was too eager to find out the outcome of the choir competition, I began searching on youtube for newer episodes hence, the videos you have seen above are actually spoilers.
