Movie: The Ghosts Must Be Crazy (鬼也笑)

Trailer for "The Ghosts Must Be Crazy"

Managed to catch "The Ghosts Must Be Crazy" on it's first day of release last week.

Although classified as a hor-medy (horror + comedy), "The Ghosts Must Be Crazy" is more funny than it is scary!

The first story, "The Day Off" (鬼才给你OFF), directed by Boris Boo, is clearly my favorite. Starring Wang Lei and Ah Nan as two soldiers who were trying all ways and means to excuse themselves from their very last outfield training, watch how their on-the-ball Platoon Commander, Enlai stands in the way?

Do watch out for Dennis Chew aka "Auntie Lucy" as the "sickly chicken" and Muthu as the Encik.

The second story, "Ghost Bride" (鬼才嫁给你), was directed by first-time Director, Mark Lee. The story is about how down-and-out Henry Thia gets a fortune by striking a deal with the dead but as with all immoral transactions, the price to pay is a heavy one.

This story is kind of dry and predictable but also has an unexpected twist in the end to which, I leave you to figure out for yourself.

"The Ghosts Must Be Crazy" is out in the theaters now.

This is a good movie because I think some of those characters were using Generic Viagra because they were totally crazy because of their attitude.
