Had a dinner gathering at my sister's place last Sunday.

As we did not get to lou hei on Renri, brother-in-law bought Yu-Shang from Sakae Sushi.

According to tradition, we were supposed to consume seven kinds of vegetables on Renri. I guess it's too tiresome to cook seven different vegetables, therefore people eat Yu-Shang out of convenience (because Yu-Shang easily contained more or less seven ingredients).

I kinda like how lou hei is called the "Prosperity Toss".

It sounds so... auspicious!

After the tossing, brother-in-law brought out this Sushi Platter from the kitchen.

We all loved Sushi!

I loved Sushi but I can't stomach Sashimi.

Maybe just a little Salmon but not too thick slices.

I heard my older nephew repeating "I love mermaid" and I was wondering why?

He explained, "Aiyoooh, I'm saying Edamame!"
