A video depicting a man abusing some kittens began circulating on Facebook last week.

He was clubbing the kittens repeatively with a umbrella and even stomping on the lifeless body of one dead kitten before sending it flying with a kick. During the whole ordeal, an adult cat was seen dashing out several times, seemingly trying to protect her young but had to beat a hasty retreat each time as the man was waving the umbrella at her in a threatening manner.

This horrific abuse happened behind a fruit stall in Serdang, Malaysia and the entire process was captured on CCTV.

With the power of internet, the identity of the assailant was uncovered who turns out to be a woman!

According to the abuser, Chow Xiao Wei, she was in depression over her parents divorce when she commited those acts and did not know what she was doing.

She has since apologized to the public in a press conference with dozens of animal activists waiting to confront her outside the building.
